FAQ

  • How does your online shop work?

Our online shop is through Bookshop! Read their about page for more details. Bookshop is an online bookstore with a mission to financially support local, independent bookstores. The short answer is this: when you shop through our Bookshop link, we get the profits! Your browser remembers that you want to shop with us, and your purchases from Bookshop will always support us, as long as you don’t click on another shop’s site. You should always see our logo in the top left corner! Bookshop pages allow us to sell books and earn profits without worrying about inventory, fulfillment, shipping, or returns, so we can focus on our local customer service!

  • I have used books I want to give you! How should I do that?

Bring books published within the last decade to our shop and we will give you a discount on your purchases that day. We have the right to refuse books. If we don’t resell your books, we will find them a good home through local Little Free Libraries (like with our partner The Root Cafe) or donate to local non-profits like The Storybook Project of Arkansas.

  • What is your return and exchange policy?

We currently do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final!

  • I am in a book club! Do you have our book?

We love book clubs! If you live in Little Rock, AR, you can place an order through the special order form and we can save you the shipping cost. Your book club can get a 10% discount if 5+ books are purchased at once! We would also love to feature your current read on our website. Email us! hello@paperheartsbooks.com

  • I am an author! Will you sell my book?

At this time, we are working directly with publishers and book distributors. We are not currently accepting any books for consignment.

  • I have a business! Can I host a pop-up?

WOO HOO! Fill out our contact form with some details and dates you have in mind and we will be in touch soon.

  • Just curious...where do you get your books?

We get our new books from the same place other bookstores get their books: either directly from publishers or from a book distributor called Ingram. Our used books come from donations!

  • Are you hiring?

    Not at the moment!
